About IMPARQT Associates

IMPARQT Associates is a home-grown architectural practice evolving in tandem with the building of nationhood. Founded in 2010 with a deep concern for the built environment and the need to create responsive architecture of excellence, it aims to enrich the human experience and spirit through its planning and architectural works.

Founded by two Architects, formerly practicing with highly exposed firms, we have generated and participated in many significant projects over more than 16 years of continued operation; yet the process of critical self-renewal remains in our culture as we seek to stay meaningfully relevant to the society we serve.

Through a strong commitment to design excellence, we aspire to make our imparqt (read impact) on the global stage by making significant contributions to the field of architecture and to the design environment, with the aim to improve the quality of life of the people who enjoy our work — This is our bold vision.

"Architecture should talk, and sing too."

Our Approach to Integrated Design

We believe buildings should be timeless and inspiring, yet practical for both their owners and occupants. We believe in the power of design to elevate people's lives and we are committed to doing everything necessary to deliver environments that outperform our clients' expectations, now and in the future.

Our Integrated Design Process involves eight iterative steps that provide a roadmap for any team, on any project, anywhere. By encouraging structured collaboration with all project participants, we find the optimal solution for every problem.

01
Orientation & Massing
Understanding external impacts including sun, wind, biomass, water, shading, and contextual social and economic factors to arrive at optimal massing.
02
Site Design & Water
How the development maintains, enhances or regenerates the natural eco-systems intrinsic to the site, with innovative water solutions.
03
Envelope
Roofs, walls, windows and features defined and modeled in response to optimal massing and site design developed in earlier stages.
04
Lighting & Power
Optimizing natural lighting strategies and integrating efficient power systems to reduce energy consumption while maintaining functionality.
05
Ventilation
Creating living breathing buildings sculpted by natural daylight and fed by fresh air, eliminating complex systems with architecturally integrated components.
06
Acoustics
Designing spaces with careful attention to sound dynamics, ensuring comfortable acoustic environments for all building occupants.
07
Materials
In-house expertise evaluating materials for toxicity, certifications, and manufacturing policies, incorporating art and cultural artifacts.
08
Quality Assurance
Every project is carefully peer reviewed and documented to ensure knowledge developed during design phases transfers through to construction.
